Each year, the National Junior tournament hosts a team banquet, to which all teams enjoy a final night full of laughter and entertainment. Dinner is provided, along with all-star awards and a dj to end the night with a little bit of dancing. Banquet will take place following the gold medal games, times will be distributed to all teams.

This year at the Canadian Junior National Team Handball Championships, there will be a fee to enter into the venues as a spectator. All players, officials and coaches will receive a special tournament pass from the organizing committee.

Passes break down as follows:

Tournament Pass: $25.00

Day Pass: $10.00

Single Game Pass: $5.00

Kids under 12 - FREE

Student Tournament Pass

(With valid student ID): $20.00

Host Province has all eyes on it's young talent

As we edge closer to the start of the tournament, Manitoba has high hopes for all three of it's Junior Provincial teams.

Coaches; Brad Smale, Pierre Feng, Alex Anspikian, Carlisle Wright and Monique Ditter have been putting in some major hours to get their teams ready all year long. Both sides of Manitoba will face off in the first games of the tournament with Manitoba 1 Boys taking on Saskatchewan 1 Boys and Manitoba Jr. Girls taking on one of 3 Quebec teams: Quebec 2.

Come cheer on all teams in the tournament and we hope you stick around for more than one of these high intensity games that are set to take place here in Winnipeg!

Just a friendly reminder to all teams, coaches and spectators that there will be paid parking between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm on May 13th at the University of Manitoba. There are several lots to choose from to park, and since the main block of school is over for most students, there should be ample parking.

Feel free to tak a look at our venue map for parking lot locations. For those of you who won't be in attendance on May 13th between 8:00am and 4:30pm, there are several lots that are free to park in:

Parking available in Lot "I" after 4:30pm on Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday

Parking also available in Lot "P" after 4:30pm on Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday
